As our team receives word from you all about the impact of COVID-19 on your churches and local communities, we have been first moved to prayer on your behalf and then to action. We are reminded of what we must be convinced of as children of God... we must be convinced about who God is, where our hope rests, and who we are together in this world.
God is good and He does good. He is faithful, sovereign, all-knowing, all-powerful, trustworthy, unchangeable, loving, merciful, compassionate, kind, and intimately involved in every facet of our lives.
Our hope rests in Him- the way maker, promise keeper, miracle worker. He surrounds His people, He hems us in behind and before, and He is coming again.
Together, we are the body of Christ. We are the salt of the earth, children of light, ambassadors of Christ, messengers of reconciliation, and how we show up in the world together makes the invisible God visible to those without hope. We are for one another, we take responsibility for one another, and we have our eyes fixed on His as we run this race.
Many of you have had to rethink what life, leadership, and ministry to kids and families looks like over the course of the coming weeks. We are praying that as you are convinced of what is true, the Lord will overwhelm your heart, mind, and soul with wisdom and discernment to shepherd your communities.
Our team is for you and with you in prayer, and trusting our God with each of you.
